It’s great to be back at Google I/O for the third time. What made this year especially exciting was the opportunity to work on-site and see the results of our efforts from the pre-production phase come to life.
My assignment was to produce both pre-recorded and live sessions for the AI track. In the past, sessions were split across many product areas, but Google has simplified things in recent years: AI, Cloud, Android, and Web now form the four core tracks. For the pre-recorded sessions, I had the pleasure of working closely with many enthusiastic presenters during post-production. Finalizing the content was no small feat—things move quickly in this industry.
On-site, I supported the AI breakout sessions, which were hosted in a building adjacent to the Shoreline Amphitheatre. The scale of the event infrastructure was stunning—it felt like a pop-up village.

Our AI session tent had the largest seating capacity and was packed with industry influencers and media. One of the standout moments was watching Joana’s demo of Google AI Studio (around the 8-minute mark in the video below), where she spoke in Portuguese and the model responded in English.
One of the best parts of working on this event was running into clients and colleagues I’ve worked with over the years. The venue offered the perfect setting for spontaneous catch-ups over food and drinks on warm, sunny days. It had a casual, communal vibe that you don’t often find at big convention centers. It was truly a privilege to be part of this experience.
